Lake Cleveland

While Ashley continues to update you on our daily events of Alaska, I will continue with our adventures. After Alaska, six days to be exact and 5 out of 6 of those days working we left up to Idaho for what was planned to be the Lovell reunion but turned out to be Laurel, Madison, Lee, and our reunion. After 2000+ photos of Alaska I needed a brake of taking photos and sadly no one else took up the torch so sorry hardly any photos. This was a recovery trip for me from Alaska. Time was well spent laying on tubes in the lake, playing games, and napping. We did of course go on a good hike to some lakes, which was a 6+ mile hike which Madison did with no problem. She is a trooper. Lindsey and Jace did come up for the last night, so I guess we can include them into the trip, but they did miss out. Also how could I forget the times with Laurel reminiscing and hugging about the good old days when she was a ranch hand, the year she was the rodeo queen, the young men who thought she was hot stuff and who still today think she is. The days she spent riding her horse for miles through the country side, to the tops of peaks, herding the cattle, and sleeping outside every night.
The house Laurel lived in and slept outside of every night. Back in the day it was in better shape to say the least.

Her barn.

Her forest and play ground with her horse.

The lake we hiked to.

Madison the intrepid hiker with her "old lady stick".
