Red Cliff

After our little adventure in Zion we wanted to visit our friends Angela & Aaron and their two kids Eliza & Nora. We spent most of the day with Aaron fixing the sink and me supervising as Angela and Ashley made amazing double chocolate pomegranate cookies which are to die for!!! We also found time to do a little exploring in St. George.

Zion National Park

Ashley and I were going to do a relay race in St. George but after failing on recruiting people we decided not to. So our next option was naturally to bring our bikes...but then there were hurricane force winds...so after some needed debate we decided to still go down and see Zion in the winter. It turned out to be the best decision. There are no tourists, no buses, no looking for parking, you can even stop in the middle of the road and take a picture, and for Jace and Lindsey the hotel prices were discounted.

San Francisco

Ashley has been to San Fran two times this year and I went with her once, so.....why not again. The weather was great, the bridge was in view everyday, and the food was amazing.

We went to Monterey to go to the Aquarium to see the great white shark only to find out that it died the day before. Ashley was extremely upset by this but luckily on the way we were able to go the beach where Ashley fell in love with the Ocean.

We also found our future home along 17 mile drive which has this view.

In the background you can see the bay bridge...it is a double decker but no one cares about it.
