Coyote Gultch
As we arrived at the visitors center in Escalante we almost did not go on the trip because the rangers were worried about the roads and the previous flash floods a few days ago. They said we could go and it should be alright but we may not make it do to road conditions. Little did they know we had a 95' Honda accord. Yea, we made it.
Our campsite was amazing it looked over the river and no one else could see us unless they climbed up to our perch.
Forgotten Items:
1. Spoons, forks, knifes, any utensil
2. Toilet Paper
3. Ashley forgot her toothbrush
4. I forgot my extra pair of Chacos.
We found out that my extra Chacos were not needed, Ashley used my toothbrush, toilet paper was luckily not needed, and Nature Valley crunchy granola bars work well as sporks.

First week of May
Finished up my 3rd semester of nursing school, only one more to go. Consecutive 70 plus degree days. 60 miles on my road bike and 21 miles on my mountain bike. Fell in a river biking. Enjoyed Mothers day and my moms Birthday. Spent time with my parents, grandma, and family. Self diagnosed myself with Achilles tendinitis (so not running only biking). Played croquet. Eat my mom's German choclate cake. Went to Lone Star twice with my parents. Celebrated Mellisa's Birthday with great friends and The Pie. Ate great Vietnamese food. Got multiple sunburns. Attempted to get a Chaco tan, Ashley did. Cinco de Mayo party at the Sugar Shack. Chips and Salsa. A real fire at night. A shady gnome. Currently preparing to go backpacking and hiking in Escalante. Getting excited for Tondo. The Giro d'Italia is on. School starts again the 16th.
