Parker's Firsts...

First Fire....

We went up to North Fork outside of Ogden. Sadly I had to work that Saturday or we would have camped. Parker was looking good, Gavin was exploring bugs, and we had some amazing tin foil dinners! A success except for the drive up.

First hike....

Ashley and Parker hiked up dry creek as I ran it. Stellar job.

First Blessing...

Ashley's whole family came down. Sadly, no Thompsons were present but they were all there in spirit. The Lovell clan came down and we watched the Sparling Circus, played volleyball until our feet burned, did the alpine slides for a second week in a row, and had delicious homemade pizza. Lovell craziness! The blessing went great...Parker did not cry and luckily Jace, Lee, and Jared kept Parker bouncing as I gave the blessing.

First Camping Trip...

First camping trip was a hit. We explored Big Cottonwood Canyon. Spruces Campground to be exact. We found a secluded campsite and a moose and decided it must be our site. The night went great. Parker did awesome even when I stole a blanket from him because I forgot my sleeping bag. I slept a little cold but not bad considering. Finally got to use those fleece pajamas. Yea!
