From Canada we went to Many Glacier area to stay a few nights. The weather sadly decided to change on us. We weathered the storm one night playing boggle in the car until dark. We got smarter the next night and bought a tarp, which luckily we had because it rained cats and dogs all night long. The 10' by 12' tarp was a life saver, the best $14 dollars ever spent. We had it over the fire...yes it was a little smoky but nothing we couldn't handle. 
Our first adventure was to Grinnell Glacier. It rained off and on as we hiked but the meadows and the glacier were amazing.
