Alaska - Day 5

Our final full day in Denali National Park.  To be honest, we took it pretty easy our last day in Denali. Also, apparently we didn't really take any pictures that day.  Not because it wasn't a great day.  We actually spent most of the day almost seeing Mt. McKinley.  We could catch glimpses of the Alaska Range and Denali as the clouds drifted across the sky all day.
Our first stop was at the Tolkat River rest stop.  We couldn't resist this photo, but you should know that moose antlers are super heavy.  Brent couldn't get them up on his shoulders by himself (oh yes, he is very strong but they are very heavy and slightly awkward).

The hike we chose for the day was up Stony Dome.  We had a view of the mountain the whole way up and down in case it really came out. It was a great hike but I think the reason we don't really have any pictures is because we were quite cold.  In fact, afterwards we spent awhile in the Eielson Visitor's Center trying to warm up.
