First...thank you Billy for the recommendation to go to Island Lake up in the Uintas. Ever since the bridge jumping by Placerville all I wanted to do was jump in some cool water. Ashley and I decided we should invite someone so we called everyone we knew with no success. This is when we realized that we do not know many couples who can drop everything and just go on a hike...we need to work on that. The directions to the trail head were not very clear but we found it with a little extra hiking and some confusion. In the end the lake was beautiful, warmer than the river, and a great day in Utah.
Ashley...next time you see me...i have a great poopy story for you. haha. Man I wish we were close to you guys. Even with our little guy, we are always looking for people to hike and camp with. We have no problem picking up and leaving...but have nobody to go with! If you guys ever come to Burley area and want to go to City of Rocks, Call us!!
