This weekend was full of surprises and good times. First on friday after I learned the last five step of Glycolysis (amazing!) we went to Surgar House Park to go falling...or to enjoy the fall weather. Ashley's foot has hurt her all summer so it was fun to see her actually slack lining and trying to do some new tricks. She has fully accomplished the one knee drop but she only struggled once. Which turned out to be a pretty funny photo for a reason.
If you look closely at this picture you'll see that a one inch tubular webbing is completely wedged itself between her big and 2nd toe, which explains her amazing expression, but she did get low.
In these pictures above she is working on her 180 jumping turn, which she pretty much has down. But as you can see had a little mishap. It turned out to be quite the adventure as she didn't land as planned.
I on the other hand am still working on my turn around which I greatly improved upon on just this last time. I successfully walked the line three times which is a new record for me.
On these I am working on my run and jump on to the line. I am pretty good with the stand and jump onto the line and the normal run and jump but the 180 run and jump has not successfully been completed just yet but an attempt is above. Ashley is now commenting on the above sentence I just wrote as being the longest run on sentence ever. I am a great writer.
Later that night we went to Momentum and Bombay House with Becca. As usual the food was amazing and if you have never gone...well, I am sorry. We ate a little too much but we still wanted to go climbing so here are a few pictures of Ashley and I on the wall. Sorry Becca, your photo didn't turn out. Don't worry there will be a next time.
A-lo's face in the knee drop photo is SOOO GOOD.
